If you watched Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, chances are you fell in love with Peter Weber. Why she dumped him? We will never know. Her loss. Peter was perfect. And now we are going to get to see more of him!
Chris Harrison spilled to viewers on the Bachelor in Paradise reunion special that Peter will indeed be the show’s next Bachelor. Thank. God. Nobody deserves true love quite like Peter. He appeared on Ellen and reflected on falling in love with Hannah.
“I’ve been moving on and I don’t know that I’ll ever completely lose all that love in my heart for her, and I kind of hope I don’t, because that will show me what I had was true and it was real,” Peter shared. “But, I’m ready to move on and I’m ready to find my girl, and I’m very hopeful this is going to work out.”
The cutie was left heartbroken after Hannah ripped out his heart and stomped on it before choosing Jed Wyatt as her fiancé (who she later broke up with). But now he gets another chance at love on the show and he’s thrilled.
“I just lost my mind, I just started going crazy,” Peter said to Ellen when recalling the phone call he received from the show producer with the news. “The funny part was, I had to fly a red-eye that night from Burbank to Atlanta for my job. I was like, ‘I’ve got to bring this down again. I’ve got to focus.’” He added, “ But I was wired for that entire flight. It was crazy. And I [couldn’t] tell anyone because it was my secret.”
He continued discussing how excited he is to meet his soulmate. “I’m just ready to immerse myself in this journey and hopefully come out with a fiancée at the end,” he shared.
